Daisy Machytka-Frank was born in 1961 in Budapest, Hungary. She graduated
from the Technical University of Budapest in 1985 with a M.Sc.Chem.Eng.
degree. From 1985 to 1998 she was a research fellow with the Central
Research Institute for Chemistry of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In
1987/88 she was doing postgraduate studies as a Soros scholar at the
University of Oxford (Brasenose College) in England. In 1990 she obtained
Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the Technical University of
Budapest. From 1990 to 1993 she was postdoctoral scholar at the University
of Bonn in Germany. She passed her patent attorney examination in 1994, joined this firm as a patent attorney in 1998 and became a partner in the firm as of 1 January 2005.
Dr. Machytka-Frank is a member of the Hungarian
Chemical Society, the AIPPI, the Hungarian Association for the Protection of
Industrial Property and Copyright, and the Hungarian Chamber of Patent
Attorneys. She is an associate member of the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks
Group and a country correspondent to the Bio-Science Law Review, Witney,
United Kingdom. |
